Technical
Support for watching Strangling Video CD or CD-ROM 1)
If
you have a Strangling movie CD-ROM and your operating system is Microsoft
Windows 98/NT/2000/XP
- for
watching the movie clips in CD-ROM, you can use the Windows Media layer (
at least Version 6.0 ) to play the movie files in follow
steps: a)
open
your Windows Media Player, it is normally stay in Start
Menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Windows Media
Player b)
after
opening of Windows Media Player, click "Files"
and choose "Open",
then you will see a small windows come out. c)
click
the button "Browse"
in this small windows. Then one more small windows will be
open. d)
In
this new small windows, choose your CD Drive from "Look
In"
button. And remember to fix your "Files
of Type"
to "All
Files"
(It normally stays at the most bottom of the
selection) e)
click
and open file which ending with " .mpg
",
then you should be now can enjoy the movie clips. 2)
If
you have a Strangling movie CD-ROM and want to play it in a VCD player or
DVD player: Sorry
that until we don't think it is possible. 3)
If
you have a Strangling Movie in Video CD format want to play it in a VCD
player or DVD Player: Just
insert this Video CD in your Player and press the PLAY button at your
player. 4)
If
you have a Strangling Movie in Video CD format and want to to-play
it in your PC (operating system is Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000/XP ) :
- for
watching the movie in Video CD Format, you can use the Windows Media
Player (at least Version 6.0) to play the movie files in follow
steps: a)
open
your Windows Media Player, it is normally stay in Start
Menu - > Programs - > Accessories - > Entertainment - >

".
Then you will see file(s) which ending with ".dat
", click and open it. Then you should be now can enjoy the movie
clips. 5)
If
you have a Strangling Movie in Video-CD format, but you don't want to use
/ don't have Windows Media Player, you can use 'Power
DVD'
to watch this Video-CD in you
PC also, - the way to install this 'Power DVD' is as below -
: a)
Click
on 'MY
COMPUTER'
which normally you can find it at the top of your
desktop. b)
Click
on your CD Drive, normally if your PC only have one hard-disk, your CD
Drive will be named: D:\ c)
Then
you will see a folder which call 'Power DVD 3.0', click and open this
folder. d)
You
will now see 23 files ( 11.5 MB ).
Before you setup, please open the file which named '
serial.txt
'
. e)
Please
highlight the numeric after CD Key : (the numeric start from
DV29.........)
and then right click on your mouse then select
'copy' f)
Now,
you can close this serial.txt g)
Please
double click on the setup.exe.
Wait for few seconds, then you will see a small windows which showed the
operating of installation. h)
Wait
for few seconds again, then you will see a blue screen with the Title '
Cyber
Link Power DVD v3.0 - Setup
' and in the middle is one welcome message. i)
click
'Next
'
… j)
Then
you will see the welcome message change to 'Software License Agreement',
Please select ' YES
'.
k)
The
agreement text will be change to 'Installing following programs' and the
name of the program is 'Cyber
Link Power DVD 3.0',
Please select 'Next' l)
Then
the message which titled 'User information' will be show, and you must
fill in your wishing user name and company. (you will see at the field was
filled with '1', you can just delete this '1' then filled in what you
want) m) At
the third blank field, please right click your mouse and select
'Paste',
then click 'Next' n)
Now
the new message which showed is: Choose Destination Location.
Normally
we don't need to change anything here,
just click 'Next
' o)
Now,
you must select the program folder, normally we also don't change anything
, just click 'Next ' p)
And
the program will be start to install in your computer. It may take few
seconds to few minutes, depend on how strong your computer is. Please
don't click 'cancel' when the setup still in
running. q)
After
the program was completely setup, one files which called 'Readme.txt'
will be open. You can read it or just close it. r)
After
you close the Readme.txt, you will see the message at the middle of this
installation blue screen will be with titled '
setup complete '.
Please deselect the 'YES;
I WANT TO REGISTER NOW'.
( You don't need to register, but if you want, you can do it. ) and then
click 'Finish'.
s)
One
message which call 'Question' may be come out, which asking for execute
the 'system
diagnostic',
If you see it, please click 'No'.
t)
The
installation of Power DVD is now complete. You can now put in the
Strangling Movie CD to your CD Drive, then double click the button
'PowerDVD'
which you can find in your desktop. If you didn't find it, you can also
click at the button 'START' then Choose 'Programs' then you will see this
'PowerDV
D',
just select it. u)
After
the program open, just use the 'ENTER' key at your keyboard or point your
mouse at the 'Play' button at the right side of menu and
click. v)
Then
the Movie will be start. Have
